Terms of Service

5.1 Seller and currency

For subscriptions paid in Korean won in Korea, the seller is 아이스터디클라우드 주식회사 (Representative YOO JEEWON · Business registration number 379-81-02863 · Mail-order business report number 2026-성남분당B-0793 · 경기도 성남시 분당구 서현로 192, 야베스밸리 714호, 715호 (서현동) · +82-2-717-1161 · support@istudycloud.com). For energy packs paid in US dollars by members residing in Korea, the seller is 아이스터디클라우드 주식회사, and ISTUDYCLOUD INC. collects payment on the seller's behalf. For payments in US dollars from other regions, the seller is ISTUDYCLOUD INC. (a British Columbia, Canada corporation, BC1383084). The checkout screen shows the seller before payment.

5.2 Recurring payments (subscriptions)

① The Team Plan, Additional storage, and Additional contents are recurring products billed monthly. Each payment covers a period of use of up to one month. You may purchase up to 5 units each of Additional storage and Additional contents.

② When you agree to recurring billing on the checkout screen and register a card, you are charged automatically every month on the same date as your first payment (or on the last day of any month that has no such date). Billing continues until you cancel.

③ Before payment and on the plans screen, we show the product, the amount charged (including VAT for payments in Korean won), the billing cycle, the next billing date, the payment card, and how to cancel.

④ If a payment fails, we retry it on the 1st, 3rd, 7th, and 14th day after the billing date and notify you. If payment is not completed within 14 days, the Team Plan changes to the Personal Plan and additional capacity ends. Your data is not deleted. You can restart at any time by changing your payment card.

⑤ If you add an item or increase a quantity during use, the change applies immediately and we immediately charge an amount prorated for the remaining days of the current billing period (amounts under ₩100 are added to the next payment). From the next billing date, the new and existing items are charged together in one payment.

⑥ If you remove an item or reduce a quantity, the amount not used in the current period is deducted from your next payment (credit). However, you cannot reduce a quantity below what you are already using.

⑦ If we increase a subscription price, we will notify you by email and by an in-service pop-up 30 days before the increase takes effect and ask for your consent to the new price. Only members who consent renew at the new price. If you do not consent, your subscription ends when the current billing period ends. Even then, your data is preserved and you may subscribe again at any time. We will not treat the absence of a response as consent.

⑧ We do not offer any product that converts automatically to a paid plan after a free trial ends.

⑨ The Team Plan provides monthly energy for each billing period. Monthly energy can only be used within that billing period. Any unused monthly energy does not roll over to the next month and expires when the period ends. Energy purchased in packs (5.3) is separate and does not expire.

5.3 Energy packs

An energy pack is a one-time purchase paid only in US dollars, available to members for whom sales are permitted. It has no expiry date, and purchased energy remains until it is used up. The checkout screen shows the amount provided and the scope of use. No new expiry date applies to remaining energy from packs purchased in Korean won before these Terms take effect.

5.4 Withdrawal and refunds

① You may withdraw from a purchase within 7 days of the payment date (for recurring payments, each payment date).

② If you have not used the purchased service at all, we refund the full amount. If you have used part of it, we refund the amount after deducting an amount proportionate to your use up to the time you notify us of the withdrawal. For the Team Plan, the deduction is the greater of the amount prorated for the days used and the deduction for monthly energy used, but it never exceeds the amount you paid. The fixed refund deduction rate for monthly energy is ₩1.58 per ⚡ for subscriptions in Korean won and US$0.00104 per ⚡ for subscriptions in US dollars. Energy used counts only the Team Plan monthly energy granted for that billing period; energy used from energy packs is not included. For Additional storage and Additional contents, only the prorated amount is deducted.

③ For an energy pack, only unused energy may be withdrawn, and we refund that pack's paid amount × (remaining energy ÷ purchased energy). Energy that has begun to be used cannot be withdrawn because of the nature of digital content, and we tell you this before payment. For payments in Korean won, any fraction of a won is rounded down in the amount deducted under ② and rounded up in the amount refunded under ③. For payments in US dollars, any fraction of a cent is rounded down in the amount deducted and rounded up in the amount refunded. For payments in US dollars, the amount paid is the pre-tax amount, and any tax paid with it is refunded in the same proportion. Packs purchased in Korean won before these Terms take effect are refunded under the conditions and in the payment currency of the original transaction.

④ If you cancel after 7 days, you can keep using the service until the end of that billing period, and the remaining period is not refunded.

⑤ If you cannot use the service because of our fault (such as a service outage), we will refund that period or extend your period of use.

⑥ Refunds are made by cancelling the card payment (including partial cancellation). We begin processing within 3 business days of receiving a withdrawal request. When the refund actually appears may vary by card issuer.

⑦ A refund applies only to the relevant item. For example, if a payment for additional capacity is refunded, only that additional capacity is reverted, and the Team Plan remains in place. If the entire payment for a billing period is refunded in full, the subscription also ends.

⑧ Changing your subscription tier, or subscribing again after cancelling, does not start a new 7-day withdrawal period.

⑨ These Terms do not limit consumers' statutory rights regarding cancellation and refunds.
